WHO: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, Diamondbacks infielder Craig Counsell and APS...
WHAT: ... are participating in a dedication ceremony to unveil Craig Counsell Field, the newest field in the "Diamonds Back" Field Building Program.
Craig Counsell Field is located at Earl Edgar Recreation Center in Buckeye, Ariz. and is a refurbishment of an existing field. The field was reconfigured to accommodate for future park improvements, and now features a brand new irrigation system, lights, sod, dirt, backstop and dugouts, authentic Chase Field stadium seats, and the signature "Diamonds Back" scoreboard. The Town of Buckeye Parks and Recreation, as well as the local Little League teams, will benefit from the field.
This is the 17th field built in partnership with the "Diamonds Back" corporate partner, APS, and the 20th field that has been completed as part of the program. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation provided additional funding, with general contractor Summit Builders, Nelsen Architects, Kearney Electric, Stabilizer Solutions, Survey Innovation Group, Erickson & Meeks Engineering, Environmental Landscaping, MUSCO Sports Lighting, and West Coast Turf donating their services and materials for the field.

The field is located just South of Centre Ave.
Please be aware that it can take 45 minutes to get to the field from downtown without traffic.
